What is included
Supply and installation of split, ducted, cassette and multi split air conditioning for Dubai homes, offices and shops, sized to the room and tested at handover. How we carry out window AC installation
Window units are still found in older villas, staff rooms, guard rooms and site cabins in Dubai. The old unit is pulled out and the opening measured, because sizes differ between makers. A steel support or a timber frame carries the weight, not the plaster edge. The new unit slides in with a small fall to the outside so condensate runs off the back and away from the wall. The gap around the casing is packed with foam and sealed, and the unit is run to check the compressor, the fan speeds and the thermostat.
Set level or tilted inward, a window unit drips down the inside wall and rots the plaster below it. Gaps left around the casing let in sand, hot air and insects, and the unit then cools the street as much as the room.
