Sea air leaves salt on glass, frames and railings, and beach sand finds its way indoors. Salt is rinsed before any wiping so it cannot scratch. Older villas often have original terrazzo, timber and marble that need gentle methods, while new builds arrive with construction dust in every cupboard. We adjust the method to the age of the house.

Salt and humidity break down ordinary paint quickly. We wash off salt, treat rust on metalwork and use primers and finishes rated for coastal exposure. Older properties show settlement cracks, damp at low level and layers of previous paint, so preparation takes longer here. Exterior walls facing the sea need coastal grade paint, and boundary walls along main roads collect traffic film that must be washed off before repainting.
