Looking after a home in Morocco, DAMAC Lagoons
DAMAC Lagoons clusters are made up of townhouses and villas close to the swimming lagoons, most of them handed over recently. In a townhouse we work down through the floors in a single day, with the staircase, the garage and the small garden terrace included.
Water side homes see higher humidity and mineral spotting on glass. We polish spots out and check shaded corners and AC vents for mould. We plan villa visits floor by floor, with course facing glass and terraces treated for sprinkler marks. In DAMAC Lagoons most bookings are move in cleans of newly handed over townhouses, where builder's dust and paint spots are removed before the furniture arrives.
Higher humidity beside water calls for mould resistant paint in bathrooms and careful sealing outside. Villas from the first phases are now due their first full repaint, inside and out. Course facing elevations are cleaned of irrigation staining and sealed before the exterior coats. New townhouses in the Lagoons are often repainted in a washable finish soon after handover.
