What is included
Supply and installation of split, ducted, cassette and multi split air conditioning for Abu Dhabi homes, offices and shops, sized to the room and tested at handover. Most cooling complaints in Abu Dhabi trace back to the day the unit was fitted: a pipe run too long or kinked, lines never vacuumed, a drain with no fall. Our own technicians check the room load and the power supply first, fit the unit to the manufacturer's instructions and record the temperatures on a test run. We fit a unit we supply or one you bought, and say so plainly if it is the wrong size for the room.
- Pipe sizes, lengths and branch positions drawn before work starts
- Joints brazed with nitrogen flowing through the pipe
- Nitrogen pressure test held before the vacuum is pulled
- Extra refrigerant weighed in to suit the measured pipe length
How we carry out multi split and VRF installation
A multi split feeds a handful of indoor units from one condenser on separate pairs of pipes. A VRF system serves many more from a shared main with branch joints. In both, the pipe layout is designed first: sizes, lengths, height differences and where each branch sits. Joints are brazed with dry nitrogen flowing through so no scale forms inside. The network is pressure tested, left to stand, then vacuumed. Extra refrigerant is weighed in for the pipe length, and each indoor unit is tested from its controller.
These systems punish shortcuts. A branch joint fitted at the wrong angle starves one room of refrigerant, and scale from brazing without nitrogen blocks the fine expansion valves months later. The attraction in Abu Dhabi villas and offices is one outdoor unit where there is little wall or roof space for many. The site visit checks the total pipe length against the maker's limits, the power supply, which is often three phase, and where the outdoor unit can stand with clear airflow.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey and diagnosis. A technician inspects the system or surface, takes readings and photographs, and explains what was found in plain language.
- Written quotation. You receive a written quotation against a defined scope before any work starts. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
- Protected, supervised work. The work area is protected and isolated, and the job is carried out by our own technicians under a named supervisor.
- Testing. Every job ends with a measured test suited to the discipline, so the result is a reading and a photograph and not an opinion.
- Report and warranty. The completed report reaches you within the hour. Any failed point is put right free of charge within 48 hours.

Questions about multi split and VRF installation in Samra
What does multi split and VRF installation include?
Several indoor units are served by a single outdoor unit through branched copper pipework, each room on its own control, with pipe sizes and lengths set out before work starts. The work includes pipe sizes, lengths and branch positions drawn before work starts; joints brazed with nitrogen flowing through the pipe; nitrogen pressure test held before the vacuum is pulled.
What is the difference between multi split and VRF?
A multi split runs a separate pair of pipes from the outdoor unit to each indoor unit and suits a few rooms. VRF shares one set of main pipes with branches, serves many indoor units over longer distances and varies the refrigerant flow to match the load in each room.
Can each room be set to its own temperature?
Yes. Every indoor unit has its own controller and can be switched off while the others run. On most systems all rooms must be in the same mode, cooling or heating, which is rarely a limit in Abu Dhabi.
How much does multi split and VRF installation cost in Samra, Al Raha Gardens?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size and type of the system or surface; present condition and ease of access. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides multi split and VRF installation in Samra, Al Raha Gardens?
The MELLS provides multi split and VRF installation in Samra, Al Raha Gardens, Abu Dhabi. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does multi split and VRF installation take?
Typically half a day for one split unit, longer for ducted systems. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Can you install a unit I have already bought?
Yes. We fit units supplied by us or by you. If the one you have bought is the wrong size for the room we tell you before it goes on the wall. An oversized unit cools fast but leaves the air damp, and an undersized one runs all day without reaching the set temperature.
What size of air conditioner does my room need?
Capacity follows the heat the room gains, not only its floor area. Glazing that faces the afternoon sun, ceiling height, a roof directly above, the number of people and any kitchen or equipment all add load. We measure and work it out at the site visit.
Can a split unit be fitted in any apartment?
No. The building decides where an outdoor unit may stand, and towers on chilled water do not take split units at all. We check the system and the building rules at the site visit and prepare the paperwork that management asks for.
How do your crews get access to Samra, Al Raha Gardens?
Each neighbourhood is gated, and the resident registers our crew and vehicle with security before the visit. Exterior changes may need the consent of the master community. That is confirmed at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork requested.
Do you need a gate pass for Al Raha Gardens?
Yes. Once the visit is booked, we send the names of the crew and the vehicle details, and you register them with your neighbourhood security. Visits are Monday to Saturday, 08:00 to 19:00, by appointment.
How do I choose a company for multi split and VRF installation in Samra, Al Raha Gardens?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (a measured test for every job, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
How are visits to Samra, Al Raha Gardens arranged?
Visits in Abu Dhabi are booked by appointment between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday. Call or send the form and we agree the earliest time a supervisor can come to you.
