What is included
Wallpaper fails in Dubai when it is hung on dusty, unprimed or damp walls, or when the AC is off for the summer and humidity lifts the seams. We check the wall for moisture, repair and prime it, then hang the paper with the adhesive its manufacturer specifies.
- Wall measurement and roll quantity check
- Removal of old wallpaper and adhesive
- Filling, sanding and priming of the wall
- Paper, vinyl, textile and non woven wall coverings
- Murals and large format printed panels
- Pattern matching from a plumb first drop
- Neat trimming at sockets, switches, skirtings and cornices
- Seam and corner repairs to existing wallpaper
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey, colour and written scope. We measure, test the existing coating and agree colours, sheen and the number of coats. The written quotation names the paint system and the scope.
- Protection. Furniture is moved and wrapped, floors are covered edge to edge, and switches, handles and light fittings are masked or removed.
- Surface preparation. Walls are washed, flaking paint is scraped back, cracks are opened and filled, and everything is sanded flat. Damp or salt affected areas are treated before any paint goes on.
- Primer and finish coats. A sealer or primer suited to the substrate is followed by two finish coats. Wet film thickness is checked on every coat.
- Snagging and handover. We inspect in daylight with you, touch up, clean down and hand over a paint schedule listing brand, colour codes and batch numbers for future touch ups.

Wallpaper Fixing in Mareva: what we plan for
This is a district of four and five bedroom family villas in The Oasis, set along the parks and waterways. In a villa this can be booked on its own or added to a full deep clean or repaint, which saves a second visit.
New homes are painted to Emaar's specification. Colour and finish upgrades are best done while the house is empty, and exteriors follow the community palette.
The districts are gated. Contractors are registered by the owner, and exterior changes need the developer's or the community's approval.

Questions about wallpaper fixing in Mareva
What does wallpaper fixing include?
Wallpaper fixing for homes, offices and shops, with walls prepared, patterns matched and seams closed by our own decorators. The work includes wall measurement and roll quantity check; removal of old wallpaper and adhesive; filling, sanding and priming of the wall.
How much does wallpaper fixing cost in Mareva, Dubai?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: wall and ceiling area and ceiling height; condition of the surface and how much repair is needed. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides wallpaper fixing in Mareva, Dubai?
The MELLS provides wallpaper fixing in Mareva, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does wallpaper fixing take?
Typically 2 to 4 hours for a feature wall and 1 to 2 days for several rooms. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Will wallpaper last in a bathroom or kitchen?
Standard paper is not suited to wet areas or to the wall beside a hob. In those rooms we advise a vinyl wall covering kept away from direct water, or a paint finish instead.
Can old wallpaper be removed without damaging the wall?
In most cases. We soften the adhesive with steam or a stripping solution and lift the paper in sections. Where the wall was never primed, some skim can come away with it, and we make that good before the next finish.
Do you offer wallpaper fixing in Mareva, Dubai?
Yes. Our decorators hang wallpaper in villas, apartments, offices and shops across Dubai. Book a site visit and we measure the walls and check their condition first.
How do your crews get access to Mareva, Dubai?
The districts are gated. Contractors are registered by the owner, and exterior changes need the developer's or the community's approval.
Do we need Emaar approval for work in The Oasis?
Cleaning, AC servicing and repairs inside the home only need the gate or building pass, which the resident arranges. Exterior painting, waterproofing, fit out and any change to the facade, roof or garden structures need a no objection certificate from Emaar or the community management in The Oasis before work starts. We prepare the method statement, drawings, insurance and trade licence documents the approval asks for.
How do I choose a company for wallpaper fixing in Mareva, Dubai?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (wet film thickness checked on every coat and an adhesion test at handover) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
Can you come to Mareva, Dubai at short notice?
Yes. Crews travel from our Barsha Heights base, and urgent work in Dubai is attended within two hours between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday.
