What is included
Interior and exterior painting by our own painters, with surfaces properly prepared, furniture fully protected and wet film thickness checked on every coat. A good paint finish is mostly preparation. Dubai walls move with heat, hairline cracks open at ceiling joints, and coastal air and irrigation mark exterior walls within a few seasons. We repair and prime before we paint, apply the system named in your quotation and leave the home clean enough to move straight back into.
- Fixed elements noted: flooring, stone, joinery and curtains
- Shortlist narrowed to two or three colours per room
- Large sample patches or boards painted in two coats
- Written schedule of colour codes and sheens for each room
How we carry out paint colour consultation
The consultant starts with what will not change: the floor, the kitchen, the stone and the main furniture. From those a shortlist is drawn from the fan deck, and two or three candidates per room are painted as large patches or on boards, in two coats, beside a window wall and on a wall away from it. They are looked at in daylight and under the lamps actually fitted in the room. Sheen is chosen at the same time as colour. The result is a written schedule listing the code, the finish and the surface for every room.
Daylight in Dubai is strong and warm, and it bleaches pale colours so that an off white chosen from a small card can look stark on the wall. Tinted glazing shifts everything towards green or blue. Warm white lamps in the evening pull greys towards beige. Choosing from a screen or a chip the size of a thumb is how most disappointments start. The visit also checks the practical side: which walls face west, where hands and furniture will rub and whether the existing colour is strong enough to need an extra coat.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey, colour and written scope. We measure, test the existing coating and agree colours, sheen and the number of coats. The written quotation names the paint system and the scope.
- Protection. Furniture is moved and wrapped, floors are covered edge to edge, and switches, handles and light fittings are masked or removed.
- Surface preparation. Walls are washed, flaking paint is scraped back, cracks are opened and filled, and everything is sanded flat. Damp or salt affected areas are treated before any paint goes on.
- Primer and finish coats. A sealer or primer suited to the substrate is followed by two finish coats. Wet film thickness is checked on every coat.
- Snagging and handover. We inspect in daylight with you, touch up, clean down and hand over a paint schedule listing brand, colour codes and batch numbers for future touch ups.

Paint Colour Consultation in Jenna: what we plan for
This is one of the mid rise apartment buildings around the Town Square park, with access through building management. Tower rules on permits, service lifts and working hours apply even to a short visit, and we arrange all three.
Handover paint in new townhouses is thin and marks easily, so a first repaint with a washable finish makes a visible difference. Settlement cracks at ceiling joints are opened, filled and taped before painting, and tenants moving out are returned to the original white for the handover inspection.
Townhouse streets are open to visitors with no gate pass. Apartment buildings need a work permit from building management and a service lift booking, and we arrange both.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for paint colour consultation in Jenna, Dubai follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.

Questions about paint colour consultation in Jenna
What does paint colour consultation include?
A colour consultation takes place in your own rooms, with large painted samples viewed in morning and evening light against the floors, joinery and furniture that are staying. The work includes fixed elements noted: flooring, stone, joinery and curtains; shortlist narrowed to two or three colours per room; large sample patches or boards painted in two coats.
Why do the samples look different from the colour card?
A printed card is small and seen against white paper. On a wall the colour is surrounded by your floor and furniture, lit from one side and reflected by the ceiling. Large patches in two coats, seen at different times of day, are the only reliable test.
Can you match a colour from a fabric or a photograph?
A physical item such as a cushion, tile or painted chip can be scanned and matched closely by a paint supplier. Photographs and screens are unreliable, because cameras and displays alter colour. We treat a photo as a direction and confirm with real samples on the wall.
How much does paint colour consultation cost in Jenna, Dubai?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: wall and ceiling area and ceiling height; condition of the surface and how much repair is needed. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides paint colour consultation in Jenna, Dubai?
The MELLS provides paint colour consultation in Jenna, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does paint colour consultation take?
Usually one to three days, confirmed with the quotation.
How many coats do you apply?
A primer or sealer where the surface needs it, then two finish coats. Strong colour changes may need a third coat, which is stated in the quotation.
Which paint brands do you use?
We apply the paint system named in your quotation. Most clients choose premium washable emulsions from the major brands stocked in Dubai, and we are happy to work with paints specified by your designer.
How do you protect furniture and floors?
Furniture is moved to the centre of the room and wrapped. Floors are covered edge to edge, and fittings are masked or removed. The crew cleans down every day.
Do you arrange the building permit in Jenna, Dubai?
Yes. Most buildings ask contractors for a work permit, trade licence, insurance and staff IDs, and a service lift booking. We submit all of it for you.
Do we need Nshama approval for work in Town Square?
Cleaning, AC servicing and repairs inside the home only need the gate or building pass, which the resident arranges. Exterior painting, waterproofing, fit out and any change to the facade, roof or garden structures need a no objection certificate from Nshama or the community management in Town Square before work starts. We prepare the method statement, drawings, insurance and trade licence documents the approval asks for.
How do I choose a company for paint colour consultation in Jenna, Dubai?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (wet film thickness checked on every coat and an adhesion test at handover) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
Can you come to Jenna, Dubai at short notice?
Yes. Crews travel from our Barsha Heights base, and urgent work in Dubai is attended within two hours between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday.
