What is included
Maid service for villas and apartments by housekeepers The MELLS employs directly, booked by the hour, every week or on a monthly contract. Fine sand settles on every surface within days in Dubai, and long AC running hours keep that dust moving from room to room. Your housekeeper works to a task list agreed with you, returns on the same days wherever the rota allows, and has the work checked by a supervisor against our 14 Point Standard.
- Short conversation first about how you use the wardrobe
- Everything taken out and sorted by type on clean sheeting
- Shelves wiped before items go back in the agreed layout
- Items to donate or store bagged and labelled for you
How we carry out wardrobe organising
Organising starts with how you dress, not with folding. The housekeeper asks a few questions first: what you wear most days, what is only for travel or occasions, what belongs to whom. Then the wardrobe is emptied onto clean sheeting and sorted into groups such as shirts, trousers, knitwear, abayas and kanduras, gym clothes and shoes. Nothing is thrown out. Items you set aside to donate or store are bagged and labelled, and the decision on each one stays with you.
With the wardrobe empty, shelves and rails are wiped and drawers vacuumed. Items go back by type and colour, with daily clothes at hand height, occasion wear hung with space so it does not crease, and winter clothes for travel stored high in breathable bags. Folding is matched to the drawer depth so things stand upright and can be seen at a glance. Many clients have their own housekeeper shown the layout so it is kept up between visits.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.

Wardrobe Organising in Arabian Ranches: what we plan for
Arabian Ranches is one of Dubai's original family villa communities, built around a golf club and the polo and equestrian club. The first phase includes neighbourhoods such as Saheel, Mirador, Palmera, Al Reem, Al Mahra and Hattan, followed by Arabian Ranches II and III.
The community sits on the desert edge, so sand and dust loads are among the highest in the city after a windy day. Garden irrigation stains boundary walls, and the first phase villas are now old enough to need regular upkeep.
Neighbourhoods are gated with security. Contractors are registered by the resident, and exterior changes need community management approval.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for wardrobe organising in Arabian Ranches follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.
- Size of the property and number of rooms
- Condition, and how long since the last deep clean
- Furnished and occupied, or empty
- Extras such as sofas, carpets, mattresses, external glass or outdoor areas

Questions about wardrobe organising in Arabian Ranches
What does wardrobe organising include?
Wardrobes and dressing rooms are emptied, sorted with you and put back in a clear order by type, season and use, with items you no longer want bagged separately. The work includes short conversation first about how you use the wardrobe; everything taken out and sorted by type on clean sheeting; shelves wiped before items go back in the agreed layout.
Will you decide what I should get rid of?
No. We sort and group everything and point out duplicates or items that look unworn, but you decide what goes. Anything you choose to give away is bagged and labelled, and can be dropped at a charity collection point if you ask.
Can you organise while I am at work?
The first session works best with you there for at least the first hour, so the layout fits how you live. After that the team can finish without you, and later tidy ups can be done while you are out.
How much does wardrobe organising cost in Arabian Ranches?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides wardrobe organising in Arabian Ranches?
The MELLS provides wardrobe organising in Arabian Ranches, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 58 656 3001.
How long does wardrobe organising take?
Typically visits of 4 hours or more, booked weekly or as needed. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Are the maids employed by The MELLS?
For hourly, weekly and part time services, yes. They are our own employees, not agency or subcontracted staff, and a supervisor checks their work.
Will the same housekeeper come on every visit?
For repeat bookings we roster the same housekeeper wherever possible, so your home and preferences only have to be learned once. Cover during leave is arranged by us and you are told beforehand.
Do the housekeepers bring cleaning products and equipment?
They can bring both, or use what you already keep at home if you prefer particular products for stone, timber or fabric. Your choice is noted on the booking.
How do your crews get access to Arabian Ranches?
Neighbourhoods are gated with security. Contractors are registered by the resident, and exterior changes need community management approval.
How do you deal with all the sand?
Dry extraction first. Sand is vacuumed from tracks, edges and vents before any wet cleaning, so it is removed and not turned to mud.
How do I choose a company for wardrobe organising in Arabian Ranches?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
Can you come to Arabian Ranches at short notice?
Yes. Crews travel from our Barsha Heights base, and urgent work in Dubai is attended within two hours between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday.
