What is included
A ducted AC is only as good as the ductwork hidden above the ceiling. Ducts that are too small are noisy and starve the far rooms, and in Abu Dhabi humidity any gap in the insulation sweats and drips onto the ceiling below. Our own technicians work out the airflow each room needs, then fabricate, hang, seal and insulate the ducts and balance the system before handover.
- Site survey of the AC unit, the ceiling void and the existing duct routes
- Duct sizes worked out from the airflow each room needs
- Supply and return ducts in galvanised steel sheet or pre insulated panel
- Joints sealed with duct sealant and foil tape
- Insulation with a continuous vapour barrier
- Short flexible connections to each diffuser, supported so they cannot sag
- Volume dampers, grilles and diffusers fitted and set
- Airflow balanced room by room and joints checked for leaks
- Checked against our 14 Point Standard, with photographs before and after
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey and diagnosis. A technician inspects the system or surface, takes readings and photographs, and explains what was found in plain language.
- Written quotation. You receive a written quotation against a defined scope before any work starts. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
- Protected, supervised work. The work area is protected and isolated, and the job is carried out by our own technicians under a named supervisor.
- Testing. Every job ends with a measured test suited to the discipline, so the result is a reading and a photograph and not an opinion.
- Report and warranty. The completed report reaches you within the hour. Any failed point is put right free of charge within 48 hours.

AC Ducting & Duct Installation in Al Raha Gardens: what we plan for
Al Raha Gardens is a gated villa community opposite Al Raha Beach, divided into eleven neighbourhoods such as Sidra, Yasmina, Khannour, Samra, Lehweih and Al Tharwaniyah. Homes are family villas and townhouses of three to six bedrooms, most with a private garden, a maid's room and parking at the front. The first houses were handed over around 2009, so many have now been through several tenancies.
The community sits beside a main highway and open land, so fine sand reaches window tracks, roof tops and AC filters after any windy day. Garden irrigation keeps the ground damp along boundary walls, and the hard desalinated water leaves limescale on taps, shower glass and heater elements. Original AC units and water heaters are now reaching the end of their working life. We test each one, report its condition and plan repairs or replacement in a written scope.
Each neighbourhood is gated, and the resident registers our crew and vehicle with security before the visit. Exterior changes may need the consent of the master community. That is confirmed at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork requested.

Questions about AC ducting & duct installation in Al Raha Gardens
What does AC ducting & duct installation include?
AC ducting sized, fabricated and installed for villas, apartments, offices, shops and restaurants, with joints sealed, ducts insulated and airflow balanced. The work includes site survey of the AC unit, the ceiling void and the existing duct routes; duct sizes worked out from the airflow each room needs; supply and return ducts in galvanised steel sheet or pre insulated panel.
How much does AC ducting & duct installation cost in Al Raha Gardens?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size and type of the system or surface; present condition and ease of access. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides AC ducting & duct installation in Al Raha Gardens?
The MELLS provides AC ducting & duct installation in Al Raha Gardens, Abu Dhabi. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does AC ducting & duct installation take?
Typically one to three days for most villas and fit out units. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Do you install AC ducting in Al Raha Gardens?
Yes. We install, replace and alter AC ducting in villas, apartments, offices, shops and restaurants across Abu Dhabi. A site visit measures the ceiling void and the AC unit before the scope is put in writing.
Why is water dripping from the ceiling under my AC duct?
Most often the insulation or its vapour barrier has a gap, so humid air reaches the cold metal and condenses. A blocked drain line can look the same from below, so we check both before any repair is proposed.
Why are some rooms colder than others?
The far rooms are usually short of air. The ducts may be undersized, a flexible duct may be crushed, or the branches may have no dampers. We measure the airflow at each outlet, correct the duct and balance the system.
How do your crews get access to Al Raha Gardens?
Each neighbourhood is gated, and the resident registers our crew and vehicle with security before the visit. Exterior changes may need the consent of the master community. That is confirmed at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork requested.
Do we need Aldar approval for work in Al Raha Gardens?
Cleaning, AC servicing and repairs inside the home only need the gate or building pass, which the resident arranges. Exterior painting, waterproofing, fit out and any change to the facade, roof or garden structures need a no objection certificate from Aldar or the community management in Al Raha Gardens before work starts. We prepare the method statement, drawings, insurance and trade licence documents the approval asks for.
How do I choose a company for AC ducting & duct installation in Al Raha Gardens?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (a measured test for every job, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
How are visits to Al Raha Gardens arranged?
Visits in Abu Dhabi are booked by appointment between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday. Call or send the form and we agree the earliest time a supervisor can come to you.
