What is included
A hand knotted silk rug and a nylon office carpet have nothing in common except that both hold dust. We identify the fibre and construction first, then choose between shampoo, hot water extraction and low moisture methods so colours stay true and the pile recovers.
- Fibre and dye test before cleaning
- Deep vacuum extraction of grit and sand
- Stain and traffic lane pre treatment
- Shampoo or hot water extraction for fitted carpets
- Hand cleaning for silk, wool and antique rugs
- Pile grooming and controlled drying
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.

Carpet & Rug Cleaning in The Oasis: what we plan for
The Oasis by Emaar is a large villa and mansion community in the Dubailand belt, reached from Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street near Remraam, Jumeirah Golf Estates and DAMAC Hills. It is planned around lakes, canals, swimmable lagoons and parks, in districts such as Palmiera, Mirage, Lavita, Tierra by Address, Ostra and Mareva, with handovers planned from late 2027 into 2030.
Lagoons and canals raise the humidity around the homes and bring midges in warm months, while the desert edge sends fine dust over everything after a windy day. New phases will be built for years, so construction dust will be part of life for a while.
The districts are gated. Contractors are registered by the owner, and exterior changes need the developer's or the community's approval.

Questions about carpet & rug cleaning in The Oasis
What does carpet & rug cleaning include?
Carpet and rug cleaning by fibre. Wool, silk, viscose and synthetic each get their own chemistry and drying time. The work includes fibre and dye test before cleaning; deep vacuum extraction of grit and sand; stain and traffic lane pre treatment.
How much does carpet & rug cleaning cost in The Oasis?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides carpet & rug cleaning in The Oasis?
The MELLS provides carpet & rug cleaning in The Oasis, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 58 656 3001.
How long does carpet & rug cleaning take?
Typically 1 to 3 hours for most homes, with carpets dry in 4 to 8 hours. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
How often should carpets be cleaned in Dubai?
Every six months in homes, and every three months in offices or homes with pets and children. Sand is abrasive and wears the pile if it stays in.
Do you clean rugs at home or take them away?
Most rugs are cleaned at your home. Delicate silk and antique pieces can be collected for a controlled wash and returned.
Will cleaning shrink or fade my wool rug?
Not when it is cleaned correctly. We use wool safe products, cool water and controlled drying, and we test the dyes first.
How do your crews get access to The Oasis?
The districts are gated. Contractors are registered by the owner, and exterior changes need the developer's or the community's approval.
Do you clean mansions with lagoon frontage?
Yes. Glass, stone terraces, pool decks and outdoor kitchens are cleaned with methods suited to each finish, with lagoon sand and water marks treated as part of the visit.
How do I choose a company for carpet & rug cleaning in The Oasis?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
Can you come to The Oasis at short notice?
Yes. Crews travel from our Barsha Heights base, and urgent work in Dubai is attended within two hours between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday.
