What is included
Timber moves in Dubai. Doors swell in the humid months and shrink under constant AC, hinges pull out of board carcasses, and sun and irrigation water bleach and split outdoor wood. Our carpenters repair what can be repaired, make new pieces to measure and match veneers and finishes as closely as the material allows.
- Doors eased, rehung, repaired or replaced
- Wardrobe doors, runners, hinges and internal fittings
- Kitchen cabinet doors, drawers, hinges and plinths
- Made to measure joinery and built in storage
- Skirting, architraves and wall panelling
- Locks, handles, hinges and door closers
- Furniture repair, regluing and refinishing
- Pergolas, decking and other outdoor timber
- Sanding, staining and lacquering of timber doors
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey and diagnosis. A technician inspects the system or surface, takes readings and photographs, and explains what was found in plain language.
- Written quotation. You receive a written quotation against a defined scope before any work starts. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
- Protected, supervised work. The work area is protected and isolated, and the job is carried out by our own technicians under a named supervisor.
- Testing. Every job ends with a measured test suited to the discipline, so the result is a reading and a photograph and not an opinion.
- Report and warranty. The completed report reaches you within the hour. Any failed point is put right free of charge within 48 hours.

Carpenter Services in The Oasis: what we plan for
The Oasis by Emaar is a large villa and mansion community in the Dubailand belt, reached from Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street near Remraam, Jumeirah Golf Estates and DAMAC Hills. It is planned around lakes, canals, swimmable lagoons and parks, in districts such as Palmiera, Mirage, Lavita, Tierra by Address, Ostra and Mareva, with handovers planned from late 2027 into 2030.
Lagoons and canals raise the humidity around the homes and bring midges in warm months, while the desert edge sends fine dust over everything after a windy day. New phases will be built for years, so construction dust will be part of life for a while. A first AC service soon after handover removes construction dust, and pool plant and irrigation are checked before the first summer.
The districts are gated. Contractors are registered by the owner, and exterior changes need the developer's or the community's approval.

Questions about carpenter services in The Oasis
What do carpenter services include?
Carpenter services for homes, offices and shops: door repairs, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, custom joinery, wall panelling, pergolas and decking. The work includes doors eased, rehung, repaired or replaced; wardrobe doors, runners, hinges and internal fittings; kitchen cabinet doors, drawers, hinges and plinths.
How much do carpenter services cost in The Oasis?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size and type of the system or surface; present condition and ease of access. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides carpenter services in The Oasis?
The MELLS provides carpenter services in The Oasis, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long do carpenter services take?
Typically 1 to 4 hours for most repairs, with made to measure joinery quoted per project, typically 1 to 3 weeks. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Why do my doors stick in summer?
Timber takes in moisture when the air is humid and gives it up when the AC runs for long hours, so it swells and shrinks through the year. Sealing every face of the door, including the top and bottom edges, reduces the movement.
Do you make fitted wardrobes and custom joinery?
We do. We measure on site, agree drawings, materials and hardware with you, then make and install the piece. The programme is stated in the quotation.
Does a pergola or deck need approval?
It may, depending on the community and on the size and position of the structure. This is identified at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork the community or master developer asks for.
How do your crews get access to The Oasis?
The districts are gated. Contractors are registered by the owner, and exterior changes need the developer's or the community's approval.
Do we need Emaar approval for work in The Oasis?
Cleaning, AC servicing and repairs inside the home only need the gate or building pass, which the resident arranges. Exterior painting, waterproofing, fit out and any change to the facade, roof or garden structures need a no objection certificate from Emaar or the community management in The Oasis before work starts. We prepare the method statement, drawings, insurance and trade licence documents the approval asks for.
How do I choose a company for carpenter services in The Oasis?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (a measured test for every job, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
Can you come to The Oasis at short notice?
Yes. Crews travel from our Barsha Heights base, and urgent work in Dubai is attended within two hours between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday.
