What is included
Wallpaper fixing for homes, offices and shops, with walls prepared, patterns matched and seams closed by our own decorators. Wallpaper fails in Dubai when it is hung on dusty, unprimed or damp walls, or when the AC is off for the summer and humidity lifts the seams. We check the wall for moisture, repair and prime it, then hang the paper with the adhesive its manufacturer specifies.
- Advice on which wall suits the pattern and the light
- Drops centred on the wall or the furniture
- Sockets, switches and TV brackets removed and refitted
- Furniture moved, protected and replaced
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey, colour and written scope. We measure, test the existing coating and agree colours, sheen and the number of coats. The written quotation names the paint system and the scope.
- Protection. Furniture is moved and wrapped, floors are covered edge to edge, and switches, handles and light fittings are masked or removed.
- Surface preparation. Walls are washed, flaking paint is scraped back, cracks are opened and filled, and everything is sanded flat. Damp or salt affected areas are treated before any paint goes on.
- Primer and finish coats. A sealer or primer suited to the substrate is followed by two finish coats. Wet film thickness is checked on every coat.
- Snagging and handover. We inspect in daylight with you, touch up, clean down and hand over a paint schedule listing brand, colour codes and batch numbers for future touch ups.

Feature Wall Wallpaper in Cherrywoods: what we plan for
Homes in this cluster are mainly townhouses and compact villas, each with a small garden. We protect the stairs and landings on the way in, work in the one area and leave the rest of the house undisturbed.
Exterior walls here take the full desert sun, so we use UV stable exterior paint and wash surfaces before recoating. Many homes in Mudon and The Villa are due their first complete repaint, and tenants moving out are returned to the original colours.
All of these communities are gated. The resident registers our crew in advance, and exterior work needs approval from community management.

Questions about feature wall wallpaper in Cherrywoods
What does feature wall wallpaper include?
A single papered wall behind a bed, sofa or dining table, usually hung in half a day once the surface has been filled, sanded and primed. The work includes advice on which wall suits the pattern and the light; drops centred on the wall or the furniture; sockets, switches and TV brackets removed and refitted.
How much does feature wall wallpaper cost in Cherrywoods, Dubai?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: wall and ceiling area and ceiling height; condition of the surface and how much repair is needed. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides feature wall wallpaper in Cherrywoods, Dubai?
The MELLS provides feature wall wallpaper in Cherrywoods, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does feature wall wallpaper take?
Typically 2 to 4 hours for a feature wall and 1 to 2 days for several rooms. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Can wallpaper go over a painted wall?
Yes, if the paint is sound, clean and matt. Glossy or flaking paint is sanded or stripped and the wall is primed, because paper only holds as well as the surface beneath it.
Can you hang wallpaper I have already bought?
Yes. Tell us the roll size, the pattern repeat and the batch numbers at the site visit, and we check that the quantity covers the wall before a single drop is cut.
Will wallpaper last in a bathroom or kitchen?
Standard paper is not suited to wet areas or to the wall beside a hob. In those rooms we advise a vinyl wall covering kept away from direct water, or a paint finish instead.
How do your crews get access to Cherrywoods, Dubai?
All of these communities are gated. The resident registers our crew in advance, and exterior work needs approval from community management.
Do you cover Mudon, The Villa and Villanova?
Yes. Our crews work in all three every week, along with Serena, Living Legends, Falcon City and The Sustainable City.
How do I choose a company for feature wall wallpaper in Cherrywoods, Dubai?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (wet film thickness checked on every coat and an adhesion test at handover) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
