What is included
Wallpaper fixing for homes, offices and shops, with walls prepared, patterns matched and seams closed by our own decorators. Wallpaper fails in Abu Dhabi when it is hung on dusty, unprimed or damp walls, or when the AC is off for the summer and humidity lifts the seams. We check the wall for moisture, repair and prime it, then hang the paper with the adhesive its manufacturer specifies.
- Advice on which wall suits the pattern and the light
- Drops centred on the wall or the furniture
- Sockets, switches and TV brackets removed and refitted
- Furniture moved, protected and replaced
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey, colour and written scope. We measure, test the existing coating and agree colours, sheen and the number of coats. The written quotation names the paint system and the scope.
- Protection. Furniture is moved and wrapped, floors are covered edge to edge, and switches, handles and light fittings are masked or removed.
- Surface preparation. Walls are washed, flaking paint is scraped back, cracks are opened and filled, and everything is sanded flat. Damp or salt affected areas are treated before any paint goes on.
- Primer and finish coats. A sealer or primer suited to the substrate is followed by two finish coats. Wet film thickness is checked on every coat.
- Snagging and handover. We inspect in daylight with you, touch up, clean down and hand over a paint schedule listing brand, colour codes and batch numbers for future touch ups.

Feature Wall Wallpaper in Fahid Island: what we plan for
Fahid Island is Aldar's island between Yas and Saadiyat, with an 11 kilometre coastline, a waterfront promenade and a landscaped park. It is planned for apartments, townhouses and villas, starting with Fahid Beach Residences, with the island's core infrastructure due in the first quarter of 2029.
Sea on every side brings salt film to glass and metal, and the beaches send fine sand onto balconies and into door tracks. Humidity is high in summer. New homes are painted to the developer's specification. Upgrades are easiest before furniture arrives.
Access to the island and its buildings will be controlled. Apartments need a work permit and a service lift booking, which we arrange.
What your quotation depends on
A quotation for feature wall wallpaper in Fahid Island follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.
- Wall and ceiling area and ceiling height
- Condition of the surface and how much repair is needed
- Paint system, sheen and number of coats
- Colour changes, feature finishes and access equipment

Questions about feature wall wallpaper in Fahid Island
What does feature wall wallpaper include?
A single papered wall behind a bed, sofa or dining table, usually hung in half a day once the surface has been filled, sanded and primed. The work includes advice on which wall suits the pattern and the light; drops centred on the wall or the furniture; sockets, switches and TV brackets removed and refitted.
How much does feature wall wallpaper cost in Fahid Island?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: wall and ceiling area and ceiling height; condition of the surface and how much repair is needed. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides feature wall wallpaper in Fahid Island?
The MELLS provides feature wall wallpaper in Fahid Island, Abu Dhabi. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does feature wall wallpaper take?
Typically 2 to 4 hours for a feature wall and 1 to 2 days for several rooms. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Can you hang wallpaper I have already bought?
Yes. Tell us the roll size, the pattern repeat and the batch numbers at the site visit, and we check that the quantity covers the wall before a single drop is cut.
Will wallpaper last in a bathroom or kitchen?
Standard paper is not suited to wet areas or to the wall beside a hob. In those rooms we advise a vinyl wall covering kept away from direct water, or a paint finish instead.
Can old wallpaper be removed without damaging the wall?
In most cases. We soften the adhesive with steam or a stripping solution and lift the paper in sections. Where the wall was never primed, some skim can come away with it, and we make that good before the next finish.
How do your crews get access to Fahid Island?
Access to the island and its buildings will be controlled. Apartments need a work permit and a service lift booking, which we arrange.
Do you work on Fahid Island?
Yes, by appointment, as homes are handed over: snagging, post handover deep cleaning, AC care and painting.
How do I choose a company for feature wall wallpaper in Fahid Island?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (wet film thickness checked on every coat and an adhesion test at handover) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
How are visits to Fahid Island arranged?
