What is included
Most lighting faults in Abu Dhabi trace back to a fitting screwed into gypsum board alone, a driver with no headroom, or a joint that humidity has reached. Our own technicians isolate the circuit at the distribution board, prove it dead with a tester and work to the manufacturer's instructions. Any approval the building or the community asks for is identified at the site visit, and we prepare the paperwork.
- Circuit isolated at the distribution board and proved dead before work
- Replacement of failed fittings, lamps, drivers and transformers
- Downlights and spotlights cut in to the correct cut out size
- LED strip in aluminium channel for coves, cabinets and stairs
- Pendants, chandeliers and wall lights on fixings rated for their weight
- Dimmers, smart switches and motion sensors matched to the lamps
- Bathroom, garden and facade lights with sealed connections
- Fault finding on flicker, buzzing and lights that trip the breaker
- Photographs before and after, checked against the 14 Point Standard
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey and diagnosis. A technician inspects the system or surface, takes readings and photographs, and explains what was found in plain language.
- Written quotation. You receive a written quotation against a defined scope before any work starts. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
- Protected, supervised work. The work area is protected and isolated, and the job is carried out by our own technicians under a named supervisor.
- Testing. Every job ends with a measured test suited to the discipline, so the result is a reading and a photograph and not an opinion.
- Report and warranty. The completed report reaches you within the hour. Any failed point is put right free of charge within 48 hours.

Lights Fixing & Lighting Installation in Al Jurf: what we plan for
Al Jurf is a coastal destination on the Abu Dhabi side of the border with Abu Dhabi, near Ghantoot, with beaches, a nature reserve and wellness focused developments such as SHA Residences Emirates, where apartments and beach villas with private pools are being handed over.
Beachfront homes collect salt on glass and outdoor metal, and the open coast brings sand onto terraces and into pools. Coastal air is hard on condensers and pool equipment, so regular coil cleaning and a pool plant check are worth planning.
Developments are gated. Contractor visits are registered by the owner with the community or the residence management.

Questions about lights fixing & lighting installation in Al Jurf
What does lights fixing & lighting installation include?
Light fixing and lighting installation for homes, offices and shops, from one replaced fitting to downlights, LED strip, pendants and outdoor lights. The work includes circuit isolated at the distribution board and proved dead before work; replacement of failed fittings, lamps, drivers and transformers; downlights and spotlights cut in to the correct cut out size.
How much does lights fixing & lighting installation cost in Al Jurf?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size and type of the system or surface; present condition and ease of access. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides lights fixing & lighting installation in Al Jurf?
The MELLS provides lights fixing & lighting installation in Al Jurf, Abu Dhabi. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 55 444 0084.
How long does lights fixing & lighting installation take?
Typically 1 to 3 hours for a few fittings, longer for whole rooms. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Can you install lights that I have bought myself?
Yes. Have the fitting out of its box at the site visit so we can check its weight, the driver it needs and its rating for the room. If a bathroom or garden fitting is not sealed for that location, we tell you before it goes up.
Why do my LED lights flicker?
Four causes account for most flicker: a failing driver, a dimmer that does not suit the lamp, a loose neutral, or a transformer carrying more than it should. We test for them in turn instead of swapping lamps at random, and show you what we found.
Can a heavy chandelier hang from a gypsum ceiling?
Not from the board itself. The weight has to go to the slab or a joist through a fixing rated for the load, with the gypsum only covering it. We open a small access above the position, set the anchor and close the ceiling around the rose.
How do your crews get access to Al Jurf?
Developments are gated. Contractor visits are registered by the owner with the community or the residence management.
Do you work in Al Jurf?
Yes, by appointment. The crew comes from Abu Dhabi or Dubai and brings everything needed, so the work is done in one trip.
How do I choose a company for lights fixing & lighting installation in Al Jurf?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (a measured test for every job, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
How are visits to Al Jurf arranged?
Visits in Abu Dhabi are booked by appointment between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday. Call or send the form and we agree the earliest time a supervisor can come to you.
