What is included
Curtains steamed on their tracks and blinds cleaned slat by slat, without the cost and risk of taking them down. Curtains filter the dust that comes through every window and balcony door. We clean them where they hang, so there is no shrinkage, no rehanging and no bare windows.
- Every window listed with fabric, lining, size and heading type
- Visit frequency set by room, exposure and how the space is used
- Steam visits on the track alternated with off site cleaning
- Condition notes and photographs kept from one visit to the next
How we carry out curtain cleaning contract
The contract starts with a survey. Each window is listed with its fabric, lining, drop, heading and track, and each fabric is tested once for shrinkage and colour run so the method is settled for the whole term. From that list a schedule is drawn up. Rooms facing a road or the sea, and sheers generally, get more frequent steam and low moisture extraction on the track. Heavy lined curtains are usually taken off site once in the year. The crew arrives each time with the notes and photographs from the last visit.
Curtains left for two or three years in Abu Dhabi tend to reach a point where cleaning cannot fully recover them. Fine dust works into the fibre, sun weakens the lining, and the first proper wash finds the weak spots. Regular light cleaning avoids that, and it also means hooks, gliders and cords are looked at several times a year. For offices and hotels the visits are phased so the premises keep working. Scope, frequency and what counts as an extra visit are all stated in the written quotation.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
- Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
- Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
- Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
- Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.

Questions about curtain cleaning contract in Al Jurf
What does curtain cleaning contract include?
A curtain cleaning contract sets a schedule for the year: which windows are cleaned on the track, which curtains go off site and when, all written into one quotation. The work includes every window listed with fabric, lining, size and heading type; visit frequency set by room, exposure and how the space is used; steam visits on the track alternated with off site cleaning.
How many visits a year does a curtain contract include?
It is set per property at the survey. A typical villa has sheers and main living areas cleaned on the track two or three times a year and lined curtains taken off site once. Offices and hotels often work room by room on a rolling schedule.
Can blinds and upholstery be added to the same contract?
Blinds are normally included, since they are at the same windows and collect the same dust. Sofas, dining chairs, mattresses and carpets can be added as separate lines, each with its own frequency, so everything is in one quotation and one schedule.
How much does curtain cleaning contract cost in Al Jurf?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides curtain cleaning contract in Al Jurf?

How long does curtain cleaning contract take?
Typically 2 to 4 hours for most homes. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
Do you take the curtains down?
No. They are cleaned in place, which avoids shrinkage and rehanging. Heavily soiled or lined curtains can be taken for an off site wash if needed.
Is steam safe for blackout and silk curtains?
Blackout linings are cleaned at low temperature. Silk and velvet are cleaned with low moisture methods after a test.
How often should curtains be cleaned?
Once or twice a year in Abu Dhabi, and more often near the coast or next to construction.
How do your crews get access to Al Jurf?
Developments are gated. Contractor visits are registered by the owner with the community or the residence management.
Do you work in Al Jurf?
Yes, by appointment. The crew comes from Abu Dhabi or Dubai and brings everything needed, so the work is done in one trip.
How do I choose a company for curtain cleaning contract in Al Jurf?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
