What is included

Carpet and rug cleaning by fibre. Wool, silk, viscose and synthetic each get their own chemistry and drying time. A hand knotted silk rug and a nylon office carpet have nothing in common except that both hold dust. We identify the fibre and construction first, then choose between shampoo, hot water extraction and low moisture methods so colours stay true and the pile recovers.

How we carry out caucasian rug cleaning

Caucasian rugs such as Shirvan and Kazak carry bold geometry and strong primary colours side by side: red beside white, blue beside ivory. That is exactly where a careless wash shows, with a pink or blue haze bleeding into the pale motifs. So each colour is tested on a hidden spot, and the technician checks the selvedges and fringes, which on older pieces are often worn and need gentle handling.

The rug is vacuumed from the back to drive out the sand held in the base of the pile, then washed cool with a wool safe solution and rinsed quickly so no colour has time to move. It is dried flat with airflow, which keeps bleeding in check and stops the foundation from shrinking unevenly. Loose fringes or worn edges are noted, and can be repaired by our workshop as a separate item.

How it works

The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.

  1. Site visit and written quotation. A supervisor visits, measures and records every room, surface and extra. The written quotation that follows sets out the scope, with no hourly meter and nothing added on the day.
  2. Protect and prepare. Lifts, floors and furniture are protected and delicate finishes are logged on a surface register before any product is opened.
  3. Dry before wet, top before bottom. Dust is lifted with HEPA filtered vacuums from ceilings and fittings downwards. Each zone is then wet cleaned with chemistry matched to its finish.
  4. Detail work and floors. Tracks, switches, skirtings, handles and glass are finished by hand. Floors are machine scrubbed last so nothing is walked back in.
  5. Inspection and report. The supervisor signs all fourteen checks, photographs the result and sends you the report within the hour.

Caucasian Rug Cleaning in Mirdif: what we plan for

Mirdif is one of Dubai's established family districts, east of the airport, with streets of private villas built from the 1990s onwards, the townhouses of Shorooq and Mushrif Village, and apartments at Uptown Mirdif, Ghoroob, Mirdif Hills and Mirdif Tulip. Al Warqa, Al Mizhar, Al Rashidiya, Nad Al Hamar and Al Khawaneej surround it with larger private villas.

Many homes here are twenty to thirty years old, so AC ducts, water tanks, roofs and bathrooms have had time to collect what newer communities have not seen yet. Mature gardens bring leaf litter and irrigation marks, and dust settles quickly on sills, roofs and outdoor furniture.

Most streets are open, with no community gate, and we park at the villa. Apartment communities such as Ghoroob, Uptown Mirdif and Mirdif Hills need a work permit from building management, which we arrange.

What your quotation depends on

A quotation for caucasian rug cleaning in Mirdif follows a site visit. The supervisor looks at the points listed here and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before any work begins. Once you accept it, nothing is added on the day.

Questions about caucasian rug cleaning in Mirdif

What does caucasian rug cleaning include?

Caucasian Shirvan and Kazak rugs with bold geometric designs and strong colours cleaned with dye tests, cool water and flat drying. The work includes each strong colour tested for bleeding; grit removed from the back before washing; cool, wool safe wash with a fast rinse.

Why do red and white rugs bleed when cleaned?

Some red dyes are not fully fixed, and slow drying gives them time to travel. Testing, cool water, a fast rinse and fast drying keep the colours apart.

Can you repair the fringe on an old Kazak rug?

Yes. Worn fringes and selvedges can be secured or rebuilt as a separate item on the quotation.

How much does caucasian rug cleaning cost in Mirdif?

We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size of the property and number of rooms; condition, and how long since the last deep clean. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.

Who provides caucasian rug cleaning in Mirdif?

The MELLS provides caucasian rug cleaning in Mirdif, Dubai. The work is carried out by people The MELLS employs directly, under a named supervisor, 08:00 to 19:00, Monday to Saturday. To arrange it, book a site visit on this page or call +971 58 656 3001.

How long does caucasian rug cleaning take?

Typically 1 to 3 hours for most homes, with carpets dry in 4 to 8 hours. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.

How often should carpets be cleaned in Dubai?

Every six months in homes, and every three months in offices or homes with pets and children. Sand is abrasive and wears the pile if it stays in.

Do you clean rugs at home or take them away?

Most rugs are cleaned at your home. Delicate silk and antique pieces can be collected for a controlled wash and returned.

Will cleaning shrink or fade my wool rug?

Not when it is cleaned correctly. We use wool safe products, cool water and controlled drying, and we test the dyes first.

How do your crews get access to Mirdif?

Most streets are open, with no community gate, and we park at the villa. Apartment communities such as Ghoroob, Uptown Mirdif and Mirdif Hills need a work permit from building management, which we arrange.

Do you work in older villas in Mirdif?

Yes. Much of our work in Mirdif, Al Warqa and Al Mizhar is in villas twenty years old or more, where the supervisor checks ducts, tanks, roofs and bathrooms at the site visit and writes what was found into the quotation.

How do I choose a company for caucasian rug cleaning in Mirdif?

Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (14 Point Standard signed by the supervisor, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.

Can you come to Mirdif at short notice?

Yes. Crews travel from our Barsha Heights base, and urgent work in Dubai is attended within two hours between 08:00 and 19:00, Monday to Saturday.
