What is included
Coil, drain pan and full duct decontamination, with particulate readings taken before and after. The AC runs most of the year in Dubai, and everything in the ducts ends up in the air you breathe. We clean the whole air path, from return grille to supply diffuser, and measure the difference.
- Floor and furniture below sheeted, ceiling edges masked with low tack tape
- Slot throats HEPA vacuumed with a narrow nozzle and a soft brush
- Removable deflector cores lifted out, washed and dried
- Shadow marks on the paint either side noted and photographed
How we carry out linear slot diffuser cleaning
Linear slots are popular with architects because they disappear into the ceiling, until the AC has run for a few months. Fine dust in the supply air settles along the blades, and the cold, damp air leaving the slot drags dust onto the paint either side, leaving a grey stripe. The AC is switched off first. Furniture below is covered, and the ceiling around the slot is masked with low tack tape so a brush or nozzle does not mark it.
Each slot is vacuumed along its length with a narrow HEPA nozzle, then brushed and vacuumed again. Where the deflector cores clip out, they are lifted down, washed in a mild detergent, dried and set back in the same position, because a core turned the wrong way sends air straight down onto the sofa. Grey shadowing on the paint is a stain in the emulsion, not loose dust, so it is photographed and listed separately for repainting if you want it.
How it works
The same method on every job, so the result does not depend on who is on shift.
- Survey and diagnosis. A technician inspects the system or surface, takes readings and photographs, and explains what was found in plain language.
- Written quotation. You receive a written quotation against a defined scope before any work starts. Anything outside that scope is quoted separately.
- Protected, supervised work. The work area is protected and isolated, and the job is carried out by our own technicians under a named supervisor.
- Testing. Every job ends with a measured test suited to the discipline, so the result is a reading and a photograph and not an opinion.
- Report and warranty. The completed report reaches you within the hour. Any failed point is put right free of charge within 48 hours.

Questions about linear slot diffuser cleaning in Golf Veduta, DAMAC Hills
What does linear slot diffuser cleaning include?
Long slot diffusers in villa and office ceilings collect dust lines and grey shadowing. Slots are vacuumed and brushed, and removable cores are taken out and washed. The work includes floor and furniture below sheeted, ceiling edges masked with low tack tape; slot throats HEPA vacuumed with a narrow nozzle and a soft brush; removable deflector cores lifted out, washed and dried.
Will cleaning remove the grey line on the ceiling next to the slot?
Light shadowing sometimes wipes back with a damp sponge, and we try that on a small area first. Marks that have soaked into matt emulsion usually stay, and the honest fix is a fresh coat of paint, which we can quote for separately.
How often do linear slots need cleaning?
Homes near construction or a busy road can show dust lines within a few months. Most villas are fine with a clean once or twice a year, timed with the AC service so the filters and slots are done on the same visit.
How much does linear slot diffuser cleaning cost in Golf Veduta, DAMAC Hills?
We do not publish prices, because no two jobs are the same. The main factors: size and type of the system or surface; present condition and ease of access. Book a site visit: a supervisor from The MELLS looks at the work and you receive a written quotation with a defined scope before anything begins.
Who provides linear slot diffuser cleaning in Golf Veduta, DAMAC Hills?

How long does linear slot diffuser cleaning take?
Typically one day for most apartments and one to two days for villas. The time for your property is confirmed with the quotation.
How often should AC ducts be cleaned in Dubai?
Every 12 to 18 months for occupied homes, and yearly with pets, smokers or nearby construction.
How do I know it worked?
We take a particulate reading at the supply air before and after. The job passes at an 80 percent or greater reduction.
Is the home usable during the work?
Yes. We work one AC zone at a time and protect furniture below each grille.
Do you arrange the building permit in Golf Veduta, DAMAC Hills?
Yes. Most buildings ask contractors for a work permit, trade licence, insurance and staff IDs, and a service lift booking. We submit all of it for you.
Do we need DAMAC approval for work in DAMAC Hills?
Cleaning, AC servicing and repairs inside the home only need the gate or building pass, which the resident arranges. Exterior painting, waterproofing, fit out and any change to the facade, roof or garden structures need a no objection certificate from DAMAC or the community management in DAMAC Hills before work starts. We prepare the method statement, drawings, insurance and trade licence documents the approval asks for.
How do I choose a company for linear slot diffuser cleaning in Golf Veduta, DAMAC Hills?
Ask four things: who employs the people who will come, whether the scope is written down before work starts, how the result is checked, and what happens if something is missed. The MELLS uses its own staff, quotes in writing after a site visit, checks every job (a measured test for every job, with photographs before and after) and puts right any failed check free of charge within 48 hours.
